We are open on Saturdays and make allowance for appointments after school time.

 

Children

Children have a special place at La Perla Clinic.

True, we are not an NHS site which means we cannot see children free of charge, but we have a reduced rate for children up to 12 years old.

For example, if at least one parent is registered with us on our Independent NHS list, check up for the children will only cost £10. Our very young guests are often seen free of charge (as per their dentist's discretion).

We encourage parents to bring in very young children so that they can hop on the chair, get a badge and develop a comfortable attitude towards coming to a dental surgery.

We have many children visitors.

Treatments

There are many treatments that may well be necessary in young adult life or even before permanent teeth are out.

Ask your dentist or hygienist about the benefits of Fissure Seals which may greatly reduce the rate of dental decay. Sometime, even young adults do need a Hygienist visit.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have an orthodontic screening no later than age 7. Don't wait until all the permanent teeth erupt in the mouth. At this age, the bones are still taking shape and the orthodontic treatment is easier, quicker and more effective.
